This was a website to make fun of Republicans, but now it’s to sue Kalshi, Polymarket, and Coinbase for the decision that Nick Shirley was at the State of the Union “ADDRESS”. Nobody has provided evidence that he was inside. It’s been days, and Kalshi, Polymarket and Coinbase won’t provide evidence. So far, it’s “trust us bro”. They can take our money, but not provide us with proof of the outcome of the bet? Just their word? How illegal is that shit. I guess this is the Republican Plan after all. Rip the rest of us off.
Let’s make this clear. If a friend invites me to a casino in Las Vegas, and I go inside and look around, talk to people, does that mean I’ve seen a Cirque du Soleil show? NO. So it’s the same for Nick Shirley. If he was OUTSIDE the House Chamber while the State of the Union was going on, then it’s a NO!
Congressman Stauber said he invited 2 people to the State of the Union Address. They’re only allowed 1 guest each. Explain that Kalshi? Also, phones are allowed inside. NICK DIDN’T TAKE A SINGLE PHOTO INSIDE? Not a single person has a photo of him inside? Gee, I wonder why there are no photos of him inside the State of the Union ADDRESS.

The State of the Union ADDRESS happens in the House Chamber. The “State of the Union” is the outside event that covers everything. If Nick Shirley was not in the House Chambers during the speech, then HE DID NOT ATTEND THE ADDRESS. Important final word, as it implies the actual speech itself, not the entire State of the Union (minus Address). The Democrats gave a response to the State of the Union ADDRESS (the speaking part).

Per the full market rules: “Attendance is confirmed if the person is reported present at the event by any Source Agency, including social media posts by the person themselves. Brief appearances or partial attendance count as attendance.”
Nick Shirley posted an Instagram story where he said it was “A great honor to have been able to attend the State of the Union tonight”.
Additionally, there was a Politico article written that states Nick Shirley was at the State of the Union address. Politico is a source agency.

WHERE DOES NICK SAY “State of the Union ADDRESS”??? Kalshi is denying their word prediction market if it isn’t exact. Nick Shirley DID NOT SAY HE WAS AT THE ADDRESS! The rules state ADDRESS!

The invitations don’t have names. We should see Nick Shirley in these pics if he’s at that seat…….Kalshi, we ask again, where’s Nick? There are tons of photos. Why can’t ANYONE produce a SINGLE photo of him at the ADDRESS? He was calling the whole day the State of the Union, but we’re supposed to believe that the message below meant “State of the Union Address”. This SINGLE POST is supposed to be different than all others through the day, and this one meant thanks for the actual address? I’ve got a bridge to sell you. 50 minutes before markets were going to mark him as a No he posted that. 7 hours AFTER the Address. Bullshit. He wasn’t inside. Words matter, he didn’t say Address.
